I loved the detail the colors the mystery of why shes walking in the woods and does she see the eyes and branches and how they resemble limbs? The lighting is pretty good as well as the concept and shines. the reason i only gave 4.5 stars though is because when i look at it something just doesnt sit right like something is missing. or something needs to be fixed. maybe its because those eyes look to be underground and if they were really buried in soil they wouldnt be so clean looking, also how are their eye lids? if you go off of human eyes our eye lids dont go behind our eye balls they are just excess skin on our faces made to protect them from bacteria and dirt. but if you were seeing them as seeds then i understand that the eye lids are like a walnut shell would be and the eye ball itself is the fruit of the nut or seed that grows. i think the main concerns i have are just how clean the eyes look buried in the dirt and the fact that the trees have visible eyes in nooks an cranies on the surface that the girl would easily spot. also if the eyes were nuts or seeds then the trees would have no need for extra eyes like that, but of course i understand if you did it as an astetic to help with the like spook factor.

In all you are a very talented artist, and much better then me. I wouldnt have had a chance had i entered the open catagory. I just hope nobody hates on me if i win the beginner catagory because im 17yr and have been doing art since age 4. but i switch mediums and styles alot so i havent really developed anything remotly fully, so you could say im a beginner at everything. witch now that i mention it ive only done like 4 watercolor pieces. so in a way i am a beginner at the medium i chose to portray. thanks for listening to me blab. your a good person.

tip: When drawing realistic, it doesnt hurt to learn some background knowledge on your subject such as anatomy, medical things like connective tissue and how fat looks, as well as incorporate your characters, objects, and such to interact with the background, like when you have a character walking in the rain draw some muddy footprints on the ground. I'm sure you already know this but here it is anyway to help.

@stardusk123 greetings, thanks a lot for the valuable tip (taken a note of it), i purposely neglected realism (soil on eyes in this case) so as to highlight the eyes and no artists is perfect but with such discussions we can at least approach perfection. Hence ,stay in touch.
By the way even I am 17 :) and best of luck
